Research Analyst

The Research Analyst will assist members of our team in a variety of research and due diligence related tasks, including sourcing, compiling, and organizing research notes on hedge fund managers; calculating and analyzing performance and risk statistics; and the creation of client facing presentations and materials.

They should have a working understanding of investment terms, strong writing and communication skills, and advanced knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and macros). Candidates with a financial degree, CFA or CAIA designation, and some knowledge of futures markets and their workings are preferred.

Associate Portfolio Manager

Candidates must have a college degree, possess strong technical skills: including advanced knowledge of MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, and macros) and familiarity with computer programming (Excel/VBA, SQL preferred); and have some knowledge of futures markets and their workings.

Primary responsibilities include: the execution of trading models on behalf of client accounts in worldwide markets, reconciliation of client accounts, liaison between clearing firm and trading desk, placement of trade orders and tickets, assistance in the programming of trading models, execution software, back office tools, and more; and project based work creating custom queries and reports on internal firm data.

Primary responsibilities include: All aspects of new account openings, including reviewing new account paperwork, dealing directly with new and existing clients, and working as a liaison between found, the clients, and our clearing firms. Assisting in organization and management of accounts payable and receivable. Various administrative duties including the management of supplies, record keeping, and scheduling. Project based work preparing presentations, spreadsheets, and data for investor and internal meetings.

Research Analyst Internship

The Research Analyst Intern will assist members of our team (including top management) in a variety of tasks, such as market analysis, calculating time series and performance statistics; creating charts, graphs, and text for weekly newsletters and daily blog posts; and conducting due diligence on financial managers.

The ideal candidate will be self-directed and motivated, be proficient in the use of computers and appropriate software, and in possession of strong communication and writing skills.
